  2008 BMW Sailing Cup
  The BMW Sailing Cup reached a peak in its 3rd year, as it was awarded as One-Design   Classes National Championship in Spain, a title for the winner of the National Final.
  This title was granted by the Real Federacion Española de Vela in recognition of
  the contributon of BMW brand and the Sailing Cup to the sport of sailing and
  consolidation of the One-Design Classes in Spain.

The classification for the World Final was assigned to the best classified team at the National Final complying with the requirement that all the crewmembers being Group 1 of the ISAF Sailor Classification Code. Nacho Quero´s Team from the R.C.R.Alicante represented Spain at the World Final held in Malcesine, Lago di Garda, Italia. They faced representative teams from Germany, Denmark, France, Italy, Malta, New Zealand and Great Britain.
